There is a patent lawyer reading the openip list, who has been happy
to give opinions. There is another patent lawyer who reads the license-discuss
mailing list (not this list) who has also offered some opinions. Of
course opinions by email is not the same as paid legal backing, but
it helps.
One thing I will try to do is collate all the relevant comments from
them and ask them if they're happy for me to put them on the web pages
somewhere. Not today tho - no time for now.
